Incausa collaborates with artisans, villages and associations of eight different native ethnicities in the Amazon.

Incausa work in partnership with indigenous artisans to create connections between their communities and the international market, and do so at no charge to the producers.

The Incausa Philosophy

Incausa is a study to find meaningfulness in profit; for mindful growth: personal, community and society.

Beginning as a simple sidewalk-table venture, the organisation has evolved into a multi-national grassroots organisation committed to social innovation.

Incausa offers a thoughtful product line for ritual and meditation practice that touches on the ancient traditions, that are pure in essence, materials and simplicity.

Incausa collaborates with artisans, villages and associations of eight different native ethnicities in the Amazon.

Acting as a non-profit patron, subsidising logistics and production in order to develop a sustainable market.

INCAUSA /IN’KOUZA | LATIN | 1. “IN THE CAUSE OF”

"From our origins of will and intention was a sentiment for purpose-commerce and sacred trade."

Sustainable and ethical harvest.

Incausa's high resin Palo Santo natura (Bursera graveolens) is fully certified by the National Forest Service and Wildlife of Peru.

With every harvest, the Peruvian community plant more and more Bursera Graveolens trees, creating a truly sustainable and ethical practice.

Incausa represents to the native people of the Amazon basin an opportunity to preserve an integral livelihood and an alternative to industries that threaten to undermine these communities.

In addition, the work of these artisans represents a connection to their ancestry that spans millenniums, with the power to create dialogue between different cultures and break a cycle of prejudice and discrimination.
