A quick guide on how to use pure essential oils ~
BATH - Add 5 - 7 drops to a warm bath and soak for 20 minutes.
MASSAGE - Add 5 - 7 drops to every 10ml of carrier oil such as jojoba, sweet almond, coconut or apricot kernel and gently massage into skin.
STEAM INHALATION - Add 2 - 3 drops to a bowl of steaming water. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Place a towel over your head and the bowl and inhale the vapours for up to 5 minutes. Be careful not to burn your skin as the steam can be very hot, approach slowly and test the heat first.
DIFFUSER/OIL BURNER - Add 5 - 7 drops to your diffuser as per the manufacturer's instructions. For oil burners, add 5 - 7 drops to the oil dish with 15 - 20 ml of water, ignite the tea light candle and place underneath the oil dish.
ON THE GO - Simply keep your essential oil bottle with you and when needed unscrew the cap to inhale the therapeutic aroma.
Pure essential oils can be quite strong for direct skin application and may cause irritation. It is recommended to dilute any pure essential oil with a carrier oil before applying directly to the skin.
