Cast iron candle stand made especially for Japanese sumac candles. 

These are simple yet charming iron candle stands designed for Japanese candles (Warosoko) of different sizes. Each piece is hand-made by craftsmen and has a slightly different shape.

Lighting and observing the special flame of a Warosoku can help to focus mindful attention and appreciation when in meditation, reflection, prayer, practice and when honouring precious time. 

All Warosoku candles have a hollow core due to the unique way the wick is crafted. This design has been beautifully engineered to not only make use of plant-based materials but to also create a brighter, more powerful flame than most other candles on the market. 

The hollow core also allows for the Warosoko to sit neatly on the cast iron stand, no need to push down with any force, as soon as you feel some tight resistance, the candle has found its home.

About Daiyo 
Daiyo was established in the Takashima county of Shiga Prefecture in 1914. The artisanship has been passed down across four generations, polished and refined as time passes.
