Gold Sun Discs of 100% pure wildcrafted Chuncho Urushayhua cacao. Used as a delicious and potent elixir, this strain of cacao is scientifically recognised as the most aromatically rich in the world.

‘Chuncho Urushayhua’ is a rare and pure genetic variety of Peruvian cacao that has been wildcrafted for centuries by the Machiguenga people, deep in the high jungle of the Peruvian Andes. It is believed that this sacred cacao carries a particular frequency that resonates with the human soul.

This premium variety is both unique and well balanced, with a flavour profile boasting woody cognac, sweet fruity wine and toffee flavours. Strong notes of cinnamon are accompanied by the perfume of vanilla and freshly brewed green tea.

HOW TO USE

Place the half disc or disc in your drinking vessel, pour boiling hot water on top and mix briskly until all is dissolved. We like to add a bit of warm plant milk, honey or maple as well as some cayenne and cinnamon.

SERVING SUGGESTION

Each individual Sun Disc is 33g.

For your first cacao experience we recommend starting off with half a disc and gradually increasing to a whole disc. For more versed cacao lovers, we recommend no more than 1 and a half discs.

Creative Dose: ½ a Sun Disc (16.5g)
Ceremonial Dose: 1 Sun Disc (33g)
Upper Limit: 1.5 Sun Discs (49.5g)

You can have ceremonial cacao as often as once a day offering a gentle yet powerful replacement to coffee.
